Annie guided us through the daunting process of buying our first house, and it could not have been a better experience to work with her. We originally got in touch with her several years ago when we were less 'appealing' mortgage candidates as we were a combo of self + contract employed--other brokers weren't interested in working with us, but she was up for the challenge and helped us secure a great pre-approval! We put our search on hold but when we picked it up again this spring, she helped us navigate the complexities of making our first offers and closing on our first home. How do we begin? My wife and I were first time home buyers. In the past we had gone to our bank looking to buy a home. We had zero debt, an excellent credit rating and 20% to put down on a townhouse, yet the banks would only approve us for maybe enough to try to purchase a “room” in our city. And, if it wasn't for her battling for us (something I'm sure a bank wouldn't have worked so hard for) we would not have been able to get the house we wanted!
